  • Alex was born and raised in the Brandon area where she currently lives with her husband (Robert) and their three children (Thomas Hank-9, Julia-5, and Charlotte-2). Alex graduated from the University of Mississippi (Hotty Toddy) with a bachelors in Special Education and began her teaching career as a highly qualified Special Education teacher for the state of Mississippi in 2010. During her time spent in the classroom is where she truly found her interest in further understanding student behavior and her passion for impacting the lives of students with special needs. Alex obtained her Masters of Education with Foundations in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Cincinnati in 2016. Alex has worked the last 7 years as a Behavior Specialist within the public school system supporting and working with students with disabilities in Hinds County and Rankin County. Alex became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in January of 2021. In Alex’s spare time you can find her and her family at the ballfields watching her son play baseball or rooting on her daughter during softball games! I am excited to be a part of the Blue Sky team and working with our local school district to provide support to the individuals and families within the community.

Tazneem Conley, BCBA, LBA

  • Tasneem Conley (going by the nickname Taz) spent her childhood in Mims, FL; she received her M.S. in Developmental Disabilities/ABA from Nova Southeastern University. Through volunteer work with Special Olympics, she discerned a calling to work with exceptional populations. Taz began her journey in ABA as an RBT in 2016. Having moved to Mississippi with her husband and youngest son, she joined Blue Sky as a BCBA in 2022. Like all Blue Sky BCBAs, Taz works with a wide variety of cases, but she is especially called to cases with severe behavior, trauma, and medical complexity. Her values of growth, determination, and empathy aid her in excelling in these especially difficult cases. Taz is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in Special Education at Nova Southeastern University; her dissertation focuses on training educators on trauma-informed practices for dealing with dangerous behavior in the classroom. Outside of work, Taz enjoys family and adventure; she loves to take her family (and dogs!) hiking, exploring, and out on the water.
