Haley Garlington is a Mississippi native from Grenada, MS and a first-generation graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Educational Psychology. During her time at MSU, she discovered her passion for empowering children with disabilities while volunteering for Elizabeth A. Howard Equine-Assisted Therapy; where children learn to ride horses to help cope with their disability. Her background includes volunteering at Autism and Developmental Disabilities Clinic on MSU’s campus, being a DAWG mentor to degree seeking students with autism, and coursework based on ABA principles. Haley is obtained her Masters of ABA from the University of South Florida program. Haley’s interests include learning more about animal-assisted therapy techniques and procedures, baking sweets, going on nature trails with her dog, Stark, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
